In the name of God,Amen,I GEORGE HEWITT of Beaumont sikke in bodie but wholle minde and of good and perfect I am in brain.Praised be to God for ye same,Do make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following.first I rommit my soulle into the hands of Almighty God my creator and saviuior by who he alone merits,I hoope my soulle shall be revived in the kingdom of glory after my departure out of this earthent world and my bodie to be buried in the earth of Church yard of Beaumont aforesaid.and all my goods both moveable and imoveable I give and bequeath unto JANNAT my now wife everything of all that I have with one another of the land being in Beaumont aforesaid.
Except somme legacies which I give unto[ink blotch one word]could be as [follows]
Item;I give unto JOHN HODGSON one ewe and lamb.
Item;I give unto ANNAS STORY and ELIZABETH STORY two ewes and lambs
Item;I give unto my sonn GEORGE HEWITT two rams and one Beaumont mairre with all mistyplon gear and said so son his tenament.
Item;I give unto JOHN HOUGHTON ten shillings.
