In the name of God Amen,I HENRY HEWITT{senior] of Cargo in the Parish Of Stanwix in the County of Cumberland ,Yeoman, Being of sound perfect mind and memory,Praised be to God, Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following,that is to say,I give and bequeath to my eldest Son JOSEPH five shillings and also the Great Arke and Cupboard on the roadside of the house and the long table. Item,I give unto my youngest son JAMES HEWITT sixty pounds.Item,I give unto my daughter MARGERET HEWITT thirty pounds.Item,I give unto my daughter SARAH HEWITT forty five pounds and the cow called{Pansy?].Item ,Igive unto my daughter ANNE BELL five pounds.Item,I give unto my daughter MABELL ROBINSON five shillings.Item,I give unto my daughter MARY CALVERT five pounds.Item,I give unto my daughter ISOBELL FERGUSON five pounds.Item,I give unto my grandchild JOHN BROWN fifteen pounds.Item,I give unto WILLIAM ROBINSON of Rockcliffe two bushels of Oats.Item,I give unto MARY HOLIDAY two bushels of Oats.Item,I give unto ANN GRAHAM Two bushels of Oats.Item,I give unto GEORGE ROBINSON two bushels of Oats.Item,I give unto CHRISTIAN URWIN two shillings and sixpence.Item,I give unto HERBERT LAWSON two shillings and sixpence.Item,I give unto John Calvert[Clerk] five shillings.and the rest of my goods and chattels Real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever removable and irremovable,[my said depts,legacys,or final expense,first paid and discharged,I give and bequeath unto my son HENRY Hewitt.And of this my last will and testament,I make him the said HENRY HEWITT my 2nd?son sole executer,Hereby revoking all former wills whatsoever by me made.Next sentence not readable.Basically says in my hand
