At Carlisle January 24th 1746
On which day appeared personally ISOBEL HEWITT and alleged that THOMAS HEWIIT late of Wetherall Mill in the parish of Wetherall and Diocese of Carlisle,millar.deceased died intestate without making a will[so far as she doth know or believe that she was and is Widow and Relic of the said deceased,wherfore she prayed for letters of administration of all and singular goods and chattels and credits of the said deceased to be committed and granted unto her the said ISOBEL HEWITT on her giving good and sufficient security in that behalf.
the said ISOBEL HEWITT was then sworn in due form of law to the truth of the promises and to faithfully administer and to the said inventory exhibited.

There is a bond and allegation attached to this will but it is not very good condition
