A true and perfect inventory of all and singular goods and chattels and credits of THOMAS HEWITT of Botchergate in the Parish of St Mary Carlisle as Diocese of Carlisle ,Carrier,deceased intestate taken and approved June 5th 1765 by JAMES SAMSOM and JOSEPH BLACKLOCK

A wagon with 4 horses and the utensils belonging £30-00-00

A Great cart,two small,do,with three pair of wheels. £5-00-00

At Carlisle June 26th 1765

On which day appeared personally MARGERET HEWITT,widow, and alleged that THOMAS HEWITT of Botchergate in the Parish of ST Mary,Carlisle and Diocese of Carlisle,Carrier,deceased died intestate without making any will,so far as she doth know.That she is the widow and relic of the said deceased wherefor she prayed for letters of administration of all and singular goods,chattels and credits of the said deceased to be committed and granted unto her the said MARGARET HEWITT on her giving good and sufficient security in that behalf.

The said MARGARET HEWITT was sworn in due form of law to the truth of the promises and to faithfully administer and to the truth of the inventory by her exhibited and so forth.
