WIILIAM HEWITT 1623
In the name of God,amen,The first day of August or there abouts .anno 1623.WILLIAM HEWITT of Flinburness in Parish of Holme.weake in body but of perfect rememberence,Praised be to God.I ordain and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following.First principally he gives his soule unto Almighty God his only saviour and redeemer and his body to be buried in ye parish church yard of Holme aforesaid.item;He gives and bequeaths unto WILLIAM Hewitt his son six pounds of oats,one bushell of biggs,two pounds of peas ,one frame,one cupboard,Item;he gives unto JANE HEWITT his daughter.one brasse pott,the rest of all his goods and chattels moveable and imoveable,his debts,legacies and funeral expenses discharged,He gave and bequeathed unto JOHN his sonn,JANE HEWITT,ANNAS HEWITT and KATHRYN HEWITT his daughters,something?[ looks like[ myone of maidpron] sole executors
